A WesBanco Bank vice-president will be part of the latest class of Leadership West Virginia.
Shelly Carenbauer, Vice President and Commercial Lender for the Upper Ohio Valley, was named to the 2022 Class of Leadership West Virginia. Participation in LWV is a highly competitive process, and class participants are chosen for their outstanding leadership skills and experiences in their professional careers and civic and community activities.
LWV is a statewide education and leadership development program that cultivates leaders from across West Virginia. The 2022 class will travel to various communities throughout the state to provide a broad-based education and learning experience on critical topics and industry issues facing the state, its employers, and others.
“LWV provides graduates with the skills and knowledge to support them in making sound, informed business decisions,” said Pam Farris, executive director of the LWV program. “It is our hope that they will apply what they’ll learn in their communities and in support of LWV’s mission to grow, engage, and mobilize others to ignite a lifelong passion to move West Virginia forward.”
“We are excited that Shelly was one of a select few to be chosen to participate in the 2022 Class of Leadership West Virginia,” said Michael Mistovich, Senior Vice President & Senior Commercial Banker for WesBanco’s Upper Ohio Valley Market. “Her experience and knowledge has been a great benefit to WesBanco and its customers, and her involvement in our community has been significant.”
